It's only a $1M contract, so it won't hurt us but also I would think Harbaugh & Ozzie being questioned as part of Colin's collusion case against the NFL tomorrow, that signing him would look very suspicious. It's foolish considering Colin's girlfriend/wife pretty much cost him a chance as we were going to sign him until she mouthed off.
Hell I would have signed Colin, drafted a rookie QB in the mid rounds. Then watch the rookie beat out Colin for the back up job and go, see no collusion. He just plain sucks.

I imagine all of these visits (except the RFAs) are for options after the draft if needed. It didn’t look like Decker had anything left last year, but no harm in bringing him in to see for ourselves.

right player right price. He was also recovering from a rotator cuff injury. I think most of us would've signed Maclin.
We were interested in him last year. We just picked and we’re able to sign Maclin over him. If that didn’t come to fruition, there probably would have been greater effort to get Decker.

It's really just a cruel joke at this point. I'd bet a lot of money that if we sign Decker, we won't take Ridley if he's sitting there at 16.

I can't see us passing on Ridley for nearly any realistic player. Maybe edmunds, nelson, James, or fitz, but none will be there.
IF Ridley is there, which I firmly believe he won't be, it's almost guaranteed he's the pick. We aren't gonna fuck around with that one after all the misses and hardships at wr. No way in hell.
its how a lot of us felt last year about cb - that we'd be able to pick one up later in the draft in rounds 2 and 3 but then our first pick was marlon
i could definitely see that happening again - we're expecting a wildcard pick and then picking up receivers later but we may end up with ridley round 1

I noticed you didn’t mention Ward. If he is there would you still take Ridley? I would grab Ward over Ridley, if he was there at 16. I would also grab McGlinchey over Ridley at 16.

There are probably 2 CBs I'd take over Ward (Jackson and Oliver) and nobody I'd take over Ridley if, by some miracle, he is there at #16.
