I don't disagree. Pinter's contract suggests he's depth at a minimum, but if they acquire someone and someone else beats him out, never say never. But I agree with that semblance of an order... Pinter --> Bullock --> Gwyn

You could tell me any single one of those guys is the starter, off the roster entirely, or somewhere in between and I would not be surprised. And I’m not sure that’s a good thing but here we are.

    Schedule Release 2026 Discussion

Ain’t his domain and I also could not care less about the schedule so I’ll never ask anyways

Being on his 8th team and being a PS call-up/emergency option when needed over the last 3 seasons suggests he's much closer to out of the league than anything impactful, but never say never.

Likely just going to be a back of the roster/PS type of guy

There's a reason he's not still in NE and it has nothing to do with his play...

I'm not discounting a world where they feel like Tez hasn't done enough and they opt to move on. I think Lane will get some run in certain packages. But like you said, Sarratt seems like the guy that transitions to the league the easiest. I personally didn't believe in the upside, but I do...

I agree. I don't think I'm counting on those guys without any thought, but I'm going to give them every shot to prove they belong on the field before I consider moving elsewhere. I know they had been considering a vet WR for awhile but I don't think they had any plans to walk out of there with...

I think there's room later in the process if the young guys don't step up. I don't think there's any reason to make a move anytime soon, because they made decent investments in all of those guys sans Cuevas. They're going to get their opportunity to show whether they can hack it or not. We've...

Because it's not Madden. You can't just have extreme depth across the entire roster as a "just in case" option. You've got to spread your resources, and you just used some resources to fill those positions already.

And "redshirting" a guy also means they aren't developing. If you're just going to backfill with veterans year after year, why even make the picks? To be clear, I'm not saying that they won't make a move. We could get into camps and find these guys are indeed not ready. But there's...

And those snaps go to Njoku and Diggs in this scenario, not the young guys you want to develop. That sits the young guys on the bench more often than not.

Tez played 164 snaps total as WR4 Charlie Kolar played 402 snaps as TE3 (and that’s with Likely missing time early in the season). If you split that assuming Smythe and a rookie take those snaps, that’s only 200. That’s not a bunch.

That's a bridge you cross when you get there, not preemptively. It's not Madden.

Just don’t see how Njoku fits at this point. We’ve got 4 TEs. Would be very surprised to see us carry 5. I like the Diggs fit if we’re looking at on the field only but the off the field doesn’t seem to match up.

The Ravens had "agreed" to a Calais Campbell-esque deal with him. Once the Giants moved on from Dex, they knew that agreement wasn't going to hold so they pivoted.

At LB in particular, it does sound like Buchanan has had a super clean recovery to this point and they feel good about his progress. Should he hit any setbacks, I think they'd make a move there. But they feel good with their top 4 and then they have Jones and potentially DeLuca as STers. At...
