Bears are having a great draft.

Yeah, I mean he got 15 TD, which is very impressive. His speed is a concern but he can catch the ball and he is tough to bring down. Maybe he's a TE conversion lol. With that said, I can see your concerns. I do think he has some upside.

I don't hate Sarratt as much as others. He's good, and I actually had him similarly graded to Lane, although I wasn't a fan of that pick lol. With that said, I would have rather we got a C but it is what it is.

He has great production, TD machine, but not sure how much of that is him and how much was Mendoza TBH. He is a bit of a contrast to Lane.

I have to say I like Chicago's draft, and the Browns. Texans have done OK. I think Texans could have done much better. I don't think they have done a good job on the OL at all for Stroud. I like McDonald a lot, but I think they could've really done more with IOL for their team than improving...

Only reason I valued Delp more than Lane is (beyond the press issues Lane has) that TE is a bit of a larger concern for me than WR, although they are both kinda scary atm with Zay and Bateman as our top 2 targets.

I don't think it was. I think it was as it's been said: "Oh, that sucks, we wanted Delp. Well, Lane is there and we really like him so let's go get him then." Now, I do think we targeted Jones as the 3rd round pick, but I am guessing at WR/TE, it was a toss-up.

Yup, and that checks out to me. I think we could get an impact TE in the 7th round, for example, or even undrafted, this year. That's true of other years but this year more than others.

No doubt that's true. I haven't seen it really fail us yet this draft, to be fair. It's more of a holdover observation from the past. I'm watching to see if we get any more aggressive today than in years past. Outside of the 3rd round, I think we've done excellent this draft. I'm bummed on...

I feel like this has been the problem with us. If we wanted Delp or Jones, I think you need to gauge the room and know who will go where. I say that because I could see the TE run coming, and if I saw it then so did our FO. I think we should be more aggressive there and go up and get guys...

I'm wondering who we get here and if we trade up to get them. C position is still good but there's concerns. I would definitely go up and get Hecht to get "your guy" (or whoever that is) if there is a plan for a specific guy.

Yeah I said it earlier but this guy does give me Crosby vibes. The TFL, the dog mentality, the anger he shows and plays with an “always angry” approach is so refreshing for this defense. I don’t think he is as athletically gifted as Crosby but they have a very similar approach to the game
