From what I watched he was actually better in the run game than pass pro. He needs to rework his pass sets at tackle. I think that won’t be an issue at guard.
I wouldn’t just call him just possession receiver he has better route running skills then people give him credit for. I rarely saw him get jammed at the line of scrimmage. Clemson sent him deep quite often. There were times were corners were all over him but he just outsized them for the ball...
Mims would be a better run blocker than a receiver in our offense lol. Adding Shenault to our offense would add another dimension to our run game. I love the fit but injuries do scare me a bit.
That makes sense for what they do. Ruggs and Jeudy don’t have the YAC skills that Aiyuk does. Lamb has those skills but they value speed as well. Deebo was so dangerous on those jet sweeps and now they have two guys that can do that. Talk about not knowing what the offense is going to do...
Both undersized and athletic. Able to rack up quick pressures on unathletic tackles. Majority of sacks came on stunts. Only difference is Chassion has a few reps in which he beat some of the better tackles in college football, then get washed a play later. Sounds like almost the same player to...
I think our front office is too smart to select an ILB in round 1. DeCosta is into analytics and data shows than an ILB will barely move the needle if we’re in win now mode.
I can’t see Chaisson being an impact player year 1 for us. He wasn’t all that productive. His arm length scares me a bit, he’s also relatively young it’s going to take him some time to develop.
Really won’t make a difference unless they find a franchise QB with one of those picks. In my opinion there is no way the Bengals trade out of the number 1 pick. It doesn’t matter what you give.
Murray doesn’t understand coverage, he keeps everything in front of him. If you call attacking a RB in the flat as “coverage” skills it would be a mistake.
I really wouldn’t mind taking Grant Delpit. Sure tackling is a concern but it isn’t like he takes bad angles, he just can’t wrap up properly. Earl Thomas had the same issue really in his career. His coverage skills on the other hand are special. He’s a difference maker when manned up against TEs.
I’d add the 49ers to that list too. He’d be better than Deebo with the ball in his hands and if we want to add more elements to our run game he’d be a good fit, but I’m not sure if Roman is willingly to add jet sweeps regularly in our offense. Injuries are concerning
Not a fan of Bryan Edwards. Over half of his catches were screen passes. Doesn’t have the ability to separate downfield. Sure he’ll make a highlight reel catch but it isn’t consistent. I don’t understand the hype
