I'd say any spot on the ioL is about the same. As long as it's 1 hole covered up by 4 guys on the right side average or better. Actually would prefer a G spot over C if you put a gun to my head. The Ravens weren't wrong to think the OLine would be fine last year. Only 1 of the guards had to...
They had a similar group to ours plus Cooper Kupp. JSN/Zay, Shaheed/Bateman, Bobo/Tez are debatably comparable enough but Kupp is the difference and that's exactly the kind of guy we need.
Tez Walker is projected to start he has 7 rec in 2 yrs. Behind him Wr's 4-6 have none. Rashod Bateman has 1 solid season out of 5. This is not a SB contender WR room.
I'll forgive 1 Madden diss, but 2? You're pushing it and it's silly. i'm stating something that's pretty obvious, there is a need for another veteran pass catcher and there is also room snap and cap wise. I give it at least an 80% chance of it happening. You're acting like I'm advocating for...
i see a lot of trends that point to a great defense on day 1. This isn't a new defense for us, we've been running it for 3 years already. Minter had a top 5 D in LA with much less talent. Beeks and Trey are the keys, if that inside out pass rush is clicking on day 1 they'll be great from the jump.
I'm a bit surprised at the push back. 4 rookies drafted in rds 3-5. Highly unlikely all 4 of them are legit NFL players, much less legit NFL players in yr 1.
Even a healthy bateman jumps from 550 to about 700 snaps. he's too fragile for more than that. And you're not factoring the 200-300 snaps lost from whoever gets dinged up this year. I highly doubt all 4 of those rookies get significant snaps this year. you're probably talking about finding...
There's like a 1000+ snaps to fill. njoku would prolly take about 400 and about 50 of those would come from Andrews. Diggs would be like 500, but they don't sign him if Bateman and Tez are both looking good in PS. It's either/or not both.
Even if you replace one of the kids with Njoku or Diggs, there are still a bunch of snaps to be taken by the youth movement. Make no mistake they are going young here, but I don't think it will be this young.
Call it planned obsolescence if you will. I'm just not buying that they going into Lamar's age 30 season with a pass catching corp of 40% rookies. Where the bottom 60% has a combined 7 NFL catches. That's not how EDC builds a roster.
