Week 16 Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

I thought he stepped funny and tweaked his calf or something. We'll see what the medical staff says though. Ngl, not benching Lamar for this drive is scaring me more than it should.

This one's all ogre now. Let's get the backups in soon and move on to the Steelers,

Week 16 Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

Depending on the extent of the injuries that may have been the worst drive of the season for us. I'll be really relieved when the back-ups are in. Hopefully soon.

    Week 16 Discussion (Merry Christmas!)

Maybe I'm a outlier, but honestly I'd prefer they get the bye week than the Chiefs.

    Week 16 Discussion (Merry Christmas!)

As much as it sucks to see the Patriots win, it may be the best result we can hope for. For some reason I don't back the Dolphins to play their part in the division race, so I agree with those who'd prefer to have the Chiefs play the extra game.

    Week 16 Discussion (Merry Christmas!)

There's always something like Reddit streams, but if I were in the US I'd be rocking a VPN + NFL Game Pass. Cable channels are a bag of dicks wherever you go, so buying every game (plus all-22 tape if you like tape reviews) off the NFL directly is where it's at in this fan's opinion.

Week 15 Discussion (Home Field Advantage?)

It's always nice to see division rivals lose, but in my perfect world the Steelers, Browns and Bengals (welp) would all go 8-8 every year - or 9-7 and miss the playoffs. See them all get the worst possible draft position while still not accomplishing anything of note. I'm with you in rooting for...

Baker throws an end zone pick. Cardinals up 7-0 and have the ball.

Texans icing the kicker on a kick-off. I have to say I kinda like it.

Looks like this is Houston's to lose. Hopefully the Titans can still jump the Steelers.

Terrell Suggs: Can/should we get him?

Honestly I don't see this being an issue. I'd be pretty annoyed if Harbaugh cut someone from our actual 53-man roster just so we could sign someone who may or may not provide intel (and I'd be surprised if those players provided much that couldn't be gleaned from the all-22 tape). That just...

    The Random Thought Thread

People who get anal about "we" are just trying to look smart. And that's coming from a professional grammar pedant (as in, I've literally gotten money to nitpick the word structure of professional writers). It's like people who make a big deal about the singular "they" - the person knows a thing...

Week 15 Discussion (Home Field Advantage?)

A Bengals win would probably be the highlight of my weekend. I just can't bring myself to watch them (outside Red Zone) because I know they'll find a way to lose and keep the tank rolling.

Who are we rooting for in the Texans-Titans game? Nice to watch knowing we don't have anything at stake.

    The Well-Mannered Politics Thread

I know this won't change anyone's mind, but I actually more or less predicted that China deal back in May. The previous version of that deal included improved US access into the financial services sector, which it looks like China's negotiated out of the deal (not that it makes much difference...
