I think to be a good 4-3 defense we would need a good 3 tech. I am not optimistic on Madibuike being healthy so it would be a hole to fill for sure but probably one we need to fill regardless with interior pass rush being really important for a good defense.
He had that Jets defense looking good as well although they had a lot of talent. You saw the fall off in real time when they got rid of him. Plus you know he would absolutely love to put Rodgers into retirement.
Also kinda a point against Glenn when that group played as bad as they did this...
Yeah I always figured Steve had to basically step in to get him out of there but it was long overdue(think if we had fired Roman late 2022 instead of at the end of the season).
I think it is easier to find a good DC to pair with an offensive minded coach. But also I almost would be okay with one year of McDaniel if it meant we get a superbowl with it. Also I would be pretty happy with Saleh, think he can build a defense and was not the problem on the Jets. Been a...
That would be my thoughts as well but he would be acceptable and I would just assume he had an amazing interview haha, the others outside maybe Joseph I would be upset about
Okay maybe I jinxed things a bit here, Bears have been really good about coming back in games and finding ways to win this year when I have counted them out
I was 13 and had been a Ravens fan but nothing crazy, I remember having fun with them in 2006 but kinda tuned them out in 2007. 2008 is when I really got into them
True but if we are bringing in a big name guy and he leaves in a year, it is more likely that guys underneath would follow since they are more loyal to the coach than the team they have been with for one year. Of course the upside over that year is also really high too but I would count on...
Yeah when Kubiak left for the Broncos I believe he took a lot of guys with him on offense and we ended up going Trestman afterwards which was a step back for the offense
Gary Kubiak was so good for Flacco the one year we had him, having a guy like that for Lamar would be amazing and it would be worth the trade off of having to be smart at DC for me. I mean you have guys like Spags and Fangio who are fine at being DC for long stretches of time so if you can find...
I don't hate the idea of a head coach not calling plays but I would definitely want them plugged in on at least one side of the ball and able to compile a good staff and not be afraid to make changes. If he can get the right staff in and not wait too long or refuse to hold people accountable...
