    Lamar Jackson

Well sure but it’s a QB driven league. He’s supposed to be the leader, the field general. In the history of the game no position has ever been scrutinized more then the QB position. At least since the great Johnny Unitas changed the sport forever.

The only way to silence the critics is to win the big games. Until we get to the SB and win it, it will always be on his shoulders. It’s not fair sometimes, but it’s just the way it is in the NFL. If you sign a 250 mil contract your shoulders better be pretty wide.

    The 2024 Offseason Thread

Well he was with the browns before Georgia, but to your point, our offense was leaps and bounds better than with Roman. We beat almost every top tier team we faced, and our offense scored a lot of points in most of those games. fShould get better as Monken and Lamar move forward.

Agholor is a much better bargain with similar skills. Offering OBJ $4-$5 mil would probably be an insult to him, and even if he accepted an offer like that he wouldn’t be happy. So I think he gone. I like the group we have minus OBJ, and like you say, bringing back Agholor and adding a rookie...

I just don’t see OBJ coming back. He’s not worth $12mil.

The Nightmare, the Turnovers and the Season's Over

Well I doubt he’ll be Ed Reed good, but damn that boi makes plays all over the field. He will be a foundational leader on the back end for years to come. I hope.

    The 2024 Offseason Thread

As a fan it’s almost impossible to place blame on any one individual when there are so many questions I would have to get answered. 1. I would assume that the coaches sat around the table and developed a game plan on how to attack that D. So was it the game plan to attack that secondary, or...

And it’s much easier to just go with rumors and/or speculation then to do the real work of getting the facts…..and yes I’m guilty sometimes cause I’m lazy. lol

    I. Heard pre-game on Sunday that Ray Lewis gives this kid really high marks. Nice endorsement.

Hate to see him go. It was such a short stay, but happy for him. Good luck Mac!

I can’t prove it but the old eye test says he’s the slowest WR on our roster. Rarely ever gets separation.

    Lamar Jackson

I think you’re spot on here. He obviously feels the outside influence for him to be a great passing QB. Especially after signing the big contract. And honestly he’s been pretty good this year in the passing game. But in big games he needs to use every tool he has to get the W. It’s what really...

Bailed out by spags. That D played their best game yet.

TBH I don’t blame Flowers for trying to score on that play. He was there and it really wasn’t a fumble. It was a hell of a play by Snead, or really lucky. He knocked the ball loose. Flowers lost his composure on the taunting penalty. That’s where he needs to grow and learn to keep his emotions...

Yeah, OBJ is toast and I don’t think Bateman is ever going to be more than a #3 or 4.

Sounds familiar. That’s why I say it was a total team failure. But when the coaches don’t get it right the game is over before it starts. I just long for the day when Lamar stops being such a nice guy and maybe grabs Harbs by the throat once in a while and says “hey why tf are we getting away...
