Steelers rumored to be considering trading for TaylorI’m not saying it’s practical or possibly worth it. But CMac took the 49ers to the next level, Taylor could do something similar

Couple of my steeler friends are frustrated with Najee. Sounds like they favor Warren getting more snapsSteelers rumored to be considering trading for Taylor
Damn that sucks if true, because Harris may just not have the vision for this levelSteelers rumored to be considering trading for Taylor
Taylor would certainly make a big differenceDamn that sucks if true, because Harris may just not have the vision for this level

a) there's like eight teams "rumored" to be trading for Taylor. And the Ravens are one of them also. He's basically been "rumored" to any team that is struggling to run the ball or is missing a high-end RB (which is at least half the league).Couple of my steeler friends are frustrated with Najee. b) Najee Harris isn't a good NFL RB. The only thing I'm surprised by is it's taking this long for people to realize it. Textbook plodder. Will get only what's blocked for him, and nothing more. And the Steelers Oline hasn't blocked well in years.

Why does that matter? Taylor costs $4.3M this year. Which is now effectively like 75% of that, since he'll have already missed four games that the Colts paid him for.Since they're not paying a QB, they might have an inside track
Tough call, we desperately need a dangerous back , but Irsay said he wanted “ an early round pick”. I’m on board with a 2nd. I Would love to have him and won’t complain if EDC overpays , just not a firstEDC…. Do something!!!

Yeah I'm not going anywhere near a 2nd round pick for him. That also includes the $10-12M+ contract you're going to have to give him as well.Tough call, we desperately need a dangerous back , but Irsay said he wanted “ an early round pick”. Lots of holes to fill in the upcoming draft. CB, WR, OL, RB, LB(assuming Queen leaves), and rush LB. It’s always easy to say we can snag a quality back but that’s another risk.Yeah I'm not going anywhere near a 2nd round pick for him. No thanks. I can get another Taylor in the 2nd round of next years draft at like 20% of the price.
Could also sign one of the like 10 quality RBs who are scheduled to be FAs next year, and likely for half the price of Taylor. That market is going to shock people.Lots of holes to fill in the upcoming draft. CB, WR, OL, RB, LB(assuming Queen leaves), and rush LB. When we focus on RB in the draft we do very well , so I’m all for it. I’m also fine with paying a quality player
One of those times I’m glad I don’t have to be EDCCould also sign one of the like 10 quality RBs who are scheduled to be FAs next year, and likely for half the price of Taylor. That market is going to shock people.
And then add somebody later in the draft.
Why would LB be on the list if you just used a third round pick on an inside LB this past year?
WR is a "maybe", depending on what happens with OBJ. Agholor wouldn't be expensive to retain, and we still have Flowers and Bateman under contract no matter what.
Corner is a problem.
Oline "might" be a problem, depending on how we view Simpson. If he plays well throughout the year, he could be retained for a Mekari-level contract. Moses and Zeitler are likely gone, but you also already have Mekari and Faalele on the roster at Tackle. So you may only need a Guard and some depth.
Dline is actually a more pressing area.
Rush LB is also a maybe. You have Ojabo, Oweh, Bowser and Tavius under contract for certain.
A lot of our "needs" for next year are depth pieces, starters at relatively cheaper positions (RB, Guard, Dline). It's more of a quantity over quality scenario.
JT is a TD machine!I can't imagine a healthy Taylor on this team. That dude can move
We’d have to resign him since this was his final year on his contract. Just awfulIs Dobbins done as a Raven, or possibly done period?
Done period? I doubt it. He'll at least get signed for vet min next year.Is Dobbins done as a Raven, or possibly done period?
