We add a defensive player in the next 30 hours. Probably not a "splash" trade, but somebody who offers either depth or can start fairly quickly. My guess is either a Corner, Dlineman, or Inside Linebacker.Ok guys what are our predictions? Do we think anything happens today or if anything tomorrow morning?
Very safe and realistic answer here, I like it. My guess is CBWe add a defensive player in the next 30 hours. Probably not a "splash" trade, but somebody who offers either depth or can start fairly quickly. My guess is either a Corner, Dlineman, or Inside Linebacker.
"Ravens were close to trading for [insert player here] but the [insert other team] wanted more than what the Ravens were willing to offer."Ok guys what are our predictions? Do we think anything happens today or if anything tomorrow morning?
Stop it hurts to read"Ravens were close to trading for [insert player here] but the [insert other team] wanted more than what the Ravens were willing to offer."
Certainly possible. Seeing some of the comp people are giving up for some of these guys, and I can't blame them."Ravens were close to trading for [insert player here] but the [insert other team] wanted more than what the Ravens were willing to offer."
I could see Stephon Gilmore being traded. He currently has a 5.5m salary, which we would owe about half of for the remainder of the season and next years base salary is reasonable as well at just under 8m and it's not guaranteed.Certainly possible. Seeing some of the comp people are giving up for some of these guys, and I can't blame them.
Not really a lot in the trade market to begin with. My guess is IF we land somebody, it'll probably be somebody that isn't on anybodies radar as a trade possibility.
I think a lot of the guys fans or even the media speculate about "being available" aren't really available. Like, sure, for multiple 1st rounders, just about anybody is available. But nobody is paying that.
I don't think the Panthers are interested in trading DJ Moore (or Brian Burns). I certainly don't think the Broncos are interested in trading Jeudy. I don't think the Commanders are going to trade any of their WRs either (McLaurin or Samuel). Very few teams go about this whole "fire sale" thing in the NFL. If you get any team that trades away like more than one player, its a ton.
Possible. I don't really know how the Colts view themselves at the moment, since they can afford anything they want this year and next.I could see Stephon Gilmore being traded. True, Marlon is playing really well on the boundary, but he's also very good in the slot and although it would push him to slot, it would give us an option next season with Marcus Peters unsigned. I also like William Jackson the Commanders cb, but he has made it clear he wants to be on a team that does more man coverage and we have been doing a lot of zone this year. Haven't looked up William Jacksons salary yet, so I'm not even sure if that would be an option.Possible. I don't really know how the Colts view themselves at the moment, since they can afford anything they want this year and next.
I'm not sure he's great fit here though. I'm not really a fan of these "aging, declining corners" and think we need to get younger there anyway. Plus, he's primarily a boundary Corner, so if you bring him in, that pushes Marlon to the slot, and I really, really like how well Marlon is playing outside this year.
A nickel/slot Corner I think could definitely be on our radar. I'm not convinced we're in the market for a Corner, though. I think interior defense (Dline or Linebacker) is an area we're targeting, and yes, WR also, though I think the available WR market sucks, per usual.
Incoming Chris Givens 2.0 tradeCertainly possible. Seeing some of the comp people are giving up for some of these guys, and I can't blame them.

Roquan becomes a Raven. Josh Bynes becomes a depth piece as originally intended.Ok guys what are our predictions? Do we think anything happens today or if anything tomorrow morning?

Seems like a luxury pick up. Although it would be fun to watch he and Lamar frustrate defendersThis is for sake of discussion. When I first heard Kamara was maybe available, I said definitely not for us that sounds ridiculously dumb. But after thinking about it, if the Bucs game is any indication of how we're more likely to win, it's with being dominant on the ground again and using that to set up the pass. Could be the case that adding Kamara hedges against JK and Gus and Hill injuries, adds a dynamic runner and pass catcher, and makes the running game probably maximally elite. Then next year when Hill moves on you actually have JK, Gus, and Kamara.
Idk I'm still against it, but I could see a world where if Carolina doesn't want to trade Moore and if Denver doesn't want to trade Jeudy, Kamara could be your best possible offensive move.
That would be awesome. Can't see it happening but would love itRoquan becomes a Raven. Josh Bynes becomes a depth piece as originally intended.
I don't see Roquan for three reasons:Roquan becomes a Raven. Josh Bynes becomes a depth piece as originally intended.
I would like Bradley Chubb but I don't know what his contract looks like.Certainly possible. Seeing some of the comp people are giving up for some of these guys, and I can't blame them.

Saints are adamant on wanting a similar offer to what the Niners gave up for McCaffrey. Also, I find it hard to believe the Saints would trade him to the same team they play days after the deadline. This is for sake of discussion. 0% we trade for Chubb unless a) Broncos pay most of his salary or b) we sign long-term beforehand. Don't see either as likely.I would like Bradley Chubb but I don't know what his contract looks like.
