In free agency and the draft. Which position and players are your favorite?? And which position and players should be priories. List your top 3 position priorities in free agency. What players at those positions should these team make a priority and make a run at?? Of course if the team maximizes cap space by cleaning house of aging and unproductive players. Like if Suggs and Weddle retire.
Landry is a name that often comes up. But in my opinion he is to limited. One of the problems with the raven offense is vanilla limited players. It is like you have a deep threat or 2 and that is all those players are good for.stretching the grid but offers little creating separation short and intermediate. Then you have TE's and old vet receivers that are crafty possession receivers but do not stress the opponents. For once get the ravens a WR that stresses opponents and makes them cover the complete grid. A good sized Wide Receiver that can create separation short to intermediate with fast sudden routes and run well after the catch!! As well as the speed to get deep AND attack the football and win contested catches!!
I need to give thought before listing the positions and players i like in order. But a complete Wide Receiver that will be available is Allen Robinson!! He is 6'3 1/2 218 lbs yet runs fast sudden routes of a smaller slot receiver. He has good deep speed but most important has top shelf athleticism and aggression attacking the football. And h
is strong and elusive after the catch!! He is like a taller more explosive Boldin!! He will be somewhat of a bargain coming off injury. So he will not cost $16mil per. As good as he is, his best is yet to come!! He performed that well with Bortles behind a terrible Oline in a bad scheme. Robinson could challenge for best WR in the league in right scheme with a QB. If we don't get Robinson then Paul Richardson and Marqise Lee are pretty complete receivers as an alternative. Then there are sleepers like Jeff Janis and even Tre McBride to trade for. I'll get get to draft and different positions later. I favor a dominant offensive line!! Anyways give it some thought dudes. And let's hear some ideas!!
