I just read the New York Times article for the first time as I was doing a late night video for my YouTube Channel discussing this and.. those emails are way, way, way worst than I imagined. It's one thing for people to say, "those emails conviently leaked just before DeMaurice Smith could have lost his job." It's another for people to say, it's 10 years ago, cancel culture sucks, etc. I'm against Cancel Culture but every excuse people have tried using to defend Gruden went out the window faster than Tom Brady can deflate footballs. It's not just 10 years ago, these emails continued up until early 2018, which means either he stopped the emails before he was hired by the Raiders or just a bit after he was hired in 2018. I can't get into the other things said in the email but... his career is over.
