Praying for Joe, sounds super serious.

George Warhop is the new O line coach.
Never wanted to speak on this one, but they thinned out their coaching staff considerably this season and removed a lot of assistant position coaches… except for OL. They knew Joe D wasn’t in great health at his age but he’s so damn beloved in that building that Joe D does what Joe D wants as far as continuing to coach.

He's such a great coach and teacher of the position. My prayers go out to Joe D.

I rewatched the Rasheen Ali snaps from game 1 and my opinion hasn't changed - it was bad. Vision was terrible. He has some explosive tendencies on the college tape but he just looked so hesitant to run through the trenches. Feel like he'd excel outside of the tackles but that alone isn't going to keep him in the league. The book isn't closed on him but I think he's really going to have to show some massive improvement to stick if that's the guy we're getting and it wasn't an aberration.

also cant make overall judgements based on 1 preseason game but clearly wasnt confident with what he was seeing and had no leg drive to break tackles

still hopeful that the live-fire element has helped him and he looks better next week

but without a doubt behind owen wright right now and probably pretty telling that john kelly has been brought in

the hope with Ali has to be that he can be a returner and maybe add some of the outside, home-run threat that we might lack without keaton in the lineup to begin the year

Agreed. I think there's still some hope because what we saw doesn't 100% match the college tape. The lack of leg drive/inability to break tackles/contact balance was an issue in college and looks like it will be in the NFL too. But the explosion, one cut ability, and decisiveness that you saw at Marshall was not even close to evident last week.

Just not great that apparently this has been the case all camp, so he's gotta pick it back up quick to put himself back in the conversation. Being a draft pick won't save him.

Gage, Ali, and Wlaker all not practicing.

Wtf is going on with this rookie class though?

Wiggins (only a few days missed)
Adisa Isaac (basically zero practices)
Walker (missed a ton of practice)
Tampa (almost no practices)
Ali (missed a lot of time especially early)
Samac (been ramped slowly the whole time)
Kane (out due to injury in the PS game)

I’ll say again, I don’t know what the ravens saw in him, I was entirely unimpressed with his tape and expected nothing from him

I think once the game slow downs for him he will be fine. He definitely has potential. He looked pretty good at the senior bowl practice before his injury.

I did at least like the ability be decisive, make a cut, and go. Long speed was pretty meh and him vs. contact was never great, but the things that did give him an NFL future just have not shown up yet.

Rosengarten and Leary are iron men clearly
