I’m a little surprised Aaron Glenn was so hellbent on NY over NO. I know he spent more time playing with the Jets, but they also have an impatient and meddling owner. Saints have arguably been too patient, but feels like there’s more job security there.

Two terrible owners but an old defensive coach doesn't get the pick of the litter in that regard. Jets clearly have more young pieces in place and a way better cap situation.

Liam Coen officially named HC in Jacksonville.

This was the only place where Monken would have made a good match but Monken is too similar to Pedersen so i was pretty confident we were safe.

Don't see that as a good match. Monken's not a sexy pick or a guy who's going to be getting the keys to a full rebuild. His type cast will be a guy who can max out an established franchise Qb who is underachieving. Jax & Lawrence was perfect for that but Monken also needed a flawless playoff run to nab a HC gig and he didn't have that.

After we win the Sb next year, he'll get the gig in Atlanta to max out Penix

Raiders officially going with Pete Carroll, which I think is a good pick for where they're at as a team right now. Feels like they need a cultural reset.

Cowboys I think are effectively locked in on Schottenheimer. So its just the Saints. Not impossible but can't see Monken landing there, so I think he's retained.

Yep seems to be where it’s going. Sounds like the Saints like Joe Brady and are content to wait, as they should be considering we’re down to only 2 options. Sounds like McCarthy is an option there too though.

he did, but he also didn't have many step drops. The offensive line was horrendous as well. He absolutely regressed, but a lot of that was on personnel and coaching and not just him.
