Marvin Lewis announced that Hue's official title is "Special Assistant to the Head Coach".

Whatever that is.

that makes some logical sense - lewis is taking on more defensive duties so he wants someone to come in and ease the burden of HC duties
it's just that Hue in 2 spells has proven he's not a great HC at all

Lol, made my day. I remember when Steve Spurrier took back play calling from Hue Jackson back in 2003.

Due to terrible field conditions in Mexico City the NFL has moved the Monday Night Chiefs-Rams game to Los Angeles.

Not sure how he lost..he’ll get a big contract next year and you can take that to the bank pun intended

Think about it like this. How many people have called Tom Brady a system QB? When Conner is going out there and giving the Steelers similar production that Bell had, teams will question whether or not if he is a product of the Steelers system. Also the rookie scale hurts him too, who is going to give him a ton of money and eat up so much cap when you can draft a RB and spend 4-5 years on a non expensive contract and have room to fill holes elsewhere?

Schefter also said that he will become a free agent in 2019.

im sorry but the arguments about tom brady being a system qb are and have always been a terrible argument made by fans with zero objectivity of other teams who cant see what's staring them in the face

likewise the things bell does on the field aren't "system" qualities - bell has a running style that no other back had before him and many others have tried to replicate afterwards - and his receiving talents are still most likely the best in the NFL for running backs (mccaffrey, kamara, johnson might be up there with him)

There is a growing sense that Mike McCarthy will be fired at the end of the year. @Ice Bowl will be happy to hear that. I mean to think the Packers had Favre and Rodgers, but only two Super Bowl rings to show for it? Crazy.
