Here's more drama......... Antonio Brown has now requested a trade out of Pittsburgh according to ***.

Antonio Brown has requested a trade. Im told it was not a demand but he has asked to be dealt. Very unlikely Rooney would capitulate. Brown has issues with Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger. Feels like the coach is too aligned with the QB.

No way they deal him. His dead money if they do is insane (20m I believe but 21m cap hit next year so they technically save 1m) and I believe whatever team he goes to only is on hook for 12m a year.

I'm not sure I pull trigger for even a 1st round pick.

Browns have 'no plans' to interview Adam Gase

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns have "no plans" to interview Adam Gase for their head-coaching vacancy.

The Miami Herald had called Gase to the Browns a "very, very real possibility" but evidently that's not the case. The Plain Dealer does report Gase has "at least" three other interviews lined up. That has been widely reported, but the specific teams have yet to emerge. Gase's agent must be doing good media work.

Are any of these fired coaches a good fit for helping out the Ravens offense?? Even if as an offensive consultant - a la Al Saunders?

In the making? They're a raging fire already and have been since the Bell fiasco...

Let's look at the facts. The Bengals get their roster back next year with a new coach. The Browns are trending up as are we. There is a real possibility they finish last in the division. The Bengals were leading until the injuries piled up, the Browns were robbed of games and... we're us. I would also like to point out that the Steelers finally slay the dragon, in beating the Pats and still miss the playoffs. HAHA!

...and they will still have Tomlin as a coach. Ovisly.

Great post on that team's forum:

Subject: Sports has become an outlet for male hysteria
I'm old enough to remember when it was the antidote to hysteria...all the BS in the world didn't matter, only scoreboard...and men watched sports to avoid listening to overchatty spouses.

Thanks to ESPN, you have apparently biological males like Stephen Smith and Max Kellerman ginning up fake drama and gossip and out-henning the chattering women on The View. And they seem to take pride in pushing every bad game or good game to eleven and overreacting like a drunk driver on black ice. I can't watch it. I'm like Abner Kravitz on Bewitched...yeah, go on Alice, I'm reading the paper.

The Steelers have basically become a catty women's book club arguing over who cheated with the other member's husband. This AB and Bell nonsense is super-feminine estro-bitchy behavior coming from really masculine men who should be above this behavior. I don't know when this shit became ok, but I remember when it wasn't. Can you imagine if any player ever pulled this shit with Vince Lombardi or Chuck Noll? Noll had his dust-ups with Bradshaw but that was nothing compared to these histrionics. Like Louis CK said, yesterday, what the hell is wrong with you? You're young, you should be having fun and banging hot women and enjoying your money. So sick of young and middle aged men acting like old church ladies gossiping and being bitchy to each other.
