Report: Packers to meet with Adam Gase

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the Packers will interview Adam Gase for their head-coaching vacancy.

The interview is expected to happen Sunday. The Packers join a growing list of teams interested in Gase, who already met with the Cardinals and Jets. Gase would be another offensive-minded hire after Mike McCarthy's 13-year tenure. Green Bay also has interviews lined up with Titans OC Matt LaFleur, Saints OC Pete Carmichael, Dan Campbell, Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak, and Pariots coordinators Josh McDaniels and Brian Flores.

Jay Gruden to return as Redskins' coach

Jay Gruden will return as the Redskins' head coach in 2019.

The Redskins made Gruden sweat it out for a few days, but as expected, he'll be back for a sixth season in D.C. Injuries were the Redskins' undoing this year as Washington played out the stretch run without many of its top contributors including Alex Smith and Jordan Reed. Gruden got the benefit of the doubt this time, though another lackluster year in 2019 could spell the end of his Washington tenure.

Report: Matt Rhule drawing interest from Jets
ESPN's Dan Graziano reports the Jets are interested in Baylor coach Matt Rhule for their head coaching vacancy.

The Jets are scheduled to be in Dallas this weekend to interview Cowboys DBs coach/pass-game coordinator Kris Richard and they may be planning to sit down with Rhule as well. The 43-year-old New York native is credited with turning Temple's program around and is also coming off a bowl win with Baylor this past season. His only experience at the pro level came in 2012 when he served as the Giants' assistant OL coach. The former Penn State linebacker joins Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy, former Lions and Colts coach Jim Caldwell, former Dolphins coach Adam Gase, USC OC Kliff Kingsbury, former Packers coach Mike McCarthy, Buccaneers OC Todd Monken and Richard as candidates for the Jets' top job.

I read that the interview Chuck Pagano had with the Broncos went well. I figured he would be a better fit there than Green Bay.

Wow the Steelers are considering to trade Antonio Brown per Rapoport. I can't believe they're even considering it. 21m dead cap no way they're that stupid.

Actually, if they get rid of him after June 1st it's only 1 million in dead cap. Wait until then to make the deal.

Bucs and Arians have mutual interest, but he’s still technically under contract with the Arizona Cardinals. This will be interesting to see how it plays out.
