I really like what Jon Guden is doing in Oakland. It's about time they have a competitive team and a good coach.

I didn't watch the game yesterday but it couldn't have been stellar team performance.

they were ok - they made some poor mistakes (bad turnovers) at inopportune times that kept the game close - they're not a high-powered offence that will blow teams away but they are a multiple offence that's pretty effective at consistently moving the ball - their defence is awful though

I'm rewatching the game and I'm curious about the ineligible receivers penalty with about 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter. Who was downfield? Was it Ricard? Looked like all the linemen were still there.

i think it was attributed to nick boyle - maybe poor recollection and im not 100% sure on why - but i think it was nick boyle who got called for it

Interesting if it was. I didn't know a TE could be called for that, but I'm also not well versed on the rules.
