I thought Seth Roberts was solid given what he was asked to do. Solid blocker and made plays here and there. That shouldn't be hard for The Ravens to replace but have to hope The Ravens passing game becomes more advanced and less one dimensional.

Teams dont seem to be showing as much interest in this year wide receiver market and that probably hras alot to do with how teams view the receiver class in this year draft. A guy like Rishard Higgins may still be available after the draft and even to the point it doesnt affect The Ravens comp pick but we shall see

i think its important to understand why it didnt work out in each location though - marcus peters was disliked in KC because of his character, he was got rid of in LA as part of the tradeoff to get ramsey but by all accounts they liked him (but he also wasnt the best fit in their scheme)

And the KC argument is fair.
My counters would be:
1. KC traded a very cheap, very strong asset for not much more than what the Falcons paid to get Hayden Hurst, who obviously isn't nearly as good as Peters.
2. I never bought the Rams argument, mostly because if Peters was a special corner, you don't trade for Ramsey to begin with. You try to lock up Peters, which they didn't do. Maybe it was scheme, but good coaches, like Wade Phillips, don't get attached to players based on schemes. They try to acquire talent, and they design schemes that work around that talent.

My point is still the same... you don't see great players, in their mid 20s, in this league, bounce around every 2-3 years to different teams. If you do, its either a) because they have major character concerns, and continue to be at risk for suspensions, etc. or b) they're not a great player.

He's a very good corner. He's getting paid like a very good corner.
