Signings, Cuts, Trades

I would not be surprised if most of the overhaul to the LBs happened this year with the DLine next year, but this year showed what happens when a team cannot stop the run. Fortunately, there are not a lot of contenders that it could be a problem against, but they do exist so I cannot imagine EDC not buying a DLine if the picks do not work out. Apparently you can find ILBs on the street and be the number 1 defense but the DLine needs to be taken care of.

For the offensive I would have expected the Ravens to pay 3 starters on the OLine which would be Brown, Stanley, and, I cannot believe I am saying this, but also possibly Skura if he looks anything like he did last year. Then you get 2 solid rookies on cheap deals and that is a top 10 or even top 5 OLine.
I really think there is a good possibility we end up with Ruiz in this draft. I wouldn't be surprised if we go that way because our Oline interior is beyond thin at this point. We need multiple players there and one of them needs to be a sure-fire starter. Skura is coming off major injury - we need to see how he bounces back. We would have many years of a reasonably priced guy in the middle and depending on how he would pan out, we may or may not be willing to pay him market to hold onto him ... but we'd have 4-5 years before we had to worry about that.

I don't think he's going to be there, just based on how people are talking about him and how the interior linemen that everyone likes start to go in the 20s.

There was a time when I though there was no doubt he'd be around. Not many people were giving any interior O line guys a 1st round grade, although it was clear that he was the highest ranked at that position.

Lately, I've been hearing more buzz around him and that's pissing me off, because I kinda felt like he was the kind of guy we'd both covet and also need to fill a slot for this year. I think there is still a shot, so I'm holding out hope.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I'll see myself to the Pit of Misery.
lmao, we should be sending Sami to the pit of misery on draft night. He's complained ad nauseum about us taking Murray with the 28th pick and I don't believe that will happen at all.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I’d send over a mid round pick for Fournette if the Ravens don’t seem interested in addressing RB in the draft

100% i would too.. i dont like him much for the same reasons i dnt like todd gurley but fournette could be our derrick henry.. however, we wouldnt be able to afford his extension i dnt think

Disagree kind sir. Between his number of injuries and off-the-field incidents, I think it's better to draft a RB. Besides, he ain't the Jag player I want (SIIE).

I don't think it makes much sense to have him and Ingram.

And unless I could get him on a long term deal in the same price range as Ingram, I don't think I'd be interested.

Yea I can see why the consensus would be a no. Just a thought I had. Really hoping for CEH in the draft.

For me it's not really his stats - it's his mental make up. Classic "me" guy with propensity to always give up when things don't go his team's way.

Good point. I’m a little bias as well, since Fournette finally got his head out of his ass and had a key role in my fantasy football playoff run. But I digress. Like I said, I really want CEH in the draft. He’s quickly becoming a draft-crush for me. Reminds me of Rice.

I got ya brotha. Yes, I’m still SIIE’ing with you for him, along with Jamal or Clowney. You know me. Always aiming for the sky.
