Next Up: vs Rams

i would suggest that this is not a good sign for lamar's likelihood to practice or play this week

given that it's a bone bruise and not a low ankle sprain i do wonder if we see lamar at all the rest of the season - if it's a big one or a nasty one they can take months - it's an injury with massive variance in recovery time but normally range of recovery times are between 4 and 8 weeks

this will be week 3 for lamar (it's not inconceivable he could return but im not particularly hopeful given that he hasnt practiced yet and it seems like he wont today either based on this evidence)

IDK. I am thinking or maybe it is more wishful thinking on my part; that Lamar's silence is a part of the strategy as to not tip the Ravens hand too early as to who the Rams will have to prepare for (i.e., Lamar, Tyler or Josh). Maybe Lamar doesn't play but man, what a major boost that would be if he did.

I’m honestly impressed that Harbaugh kept Lamar strapt down to a table long enough to keep him out. You know Lamar wanted to go back into the Browns game

Not a good look for Lamar

my guess then is today was a "see how it goes" day - if it is a bone bruise and not a sprain then it's more about pain management but that looks like he's not wanting to put weight on it if he doesnt have to

my guess is they'll assess how today went with him and see if it's any easier tomorrow

Something just seems off about this to me. I mean, for weeks now we haven't seen or heard from Lamar. Harbaugh has been tight-lipped about his return and when we finally do get a glimpse of him, they show him with a slight limp? Man, I sure hope this is Lamar acting for the cameras and the Rams so they would "assume" that he may not go-but he does. I don't know, perhaps wishful thinking (again) on my part.
