even more to your point, they've drafted 3 OL in the last 2 years (1 3rd round and 2 4th round) and 2 are already starters and the 3rd has also started games - i wouldnt say they're all world-beating guys but they've found 2 starters on day 3 in 2 straight drafts (at least until they potentially draft someone higher this year...)
Right, but that's a new phenomenon for them. I'm also not sure that any of them are going to be good. Pretty much anybody they drafted would have to start, because they had nobody left to start.

i must have missed bush looking special lol - think he's been mostly a disappointment the whole time there
he was 3rd in AP DROY voting in his rookie year. I never found him all that impressive, though, and he was a joke last year and didn't look good in 2020 before he tore his ACL either.

i mean sure - definitely arguable that dan moore's only a placeholder starter at LT as a rookie 4th rounder with no one else

but kevin dotson looks pretty legit to me already in his young career

While Shanahan stayed aggressive in the second half choosing to not just run out the clock, the dumb sacks and fumbling is what ultimately lost the game for the Falcons.
that last drive when they had a pass on 3rd and long and then took a sack is what did them in. One run and they win the game.

This year should show how good they are with OL. I personally believe if you can draft guys late who are starters and do it well you do a good job. One of those guys is a good starter, but let’s see how they progress with a new QB and potentially scheme.
Speaking of..

I been saying this for a bit as have some others. Going to need to make some grown up decisions here soon on Hollywood Brown.

Tavon Young signing with the Bears for only one year. I wonder what the price is, crazy how our secondary depth is basically depleted.

Not buying Hollywood and Cooks are the same. They literally had identical stat lines last year, except one guy played most of the season with Lamar, and the other had Davis Mills.

Cooks has SIX 1,000 yard seasons on his resume, and four 1,100 yard seasons. Hollywood has one.

Lets wait and see what Hollywood does in 2022 before we think they're the same.

Also, Cooks is getting ~$20M per year on his new deal, which is basically the same range we've been suggesting Hollywood would be at for some time now. I'd have trouble reconciling how Hollywood would cost like 20-25% more than him.
