thought he did well as a rooke
have no idea what happened last year

now i have to go and watch denzel mims film i guess (and watch rookie zach wilson... yuck)
EDIT: first pass play i watch involving Mims is an attempted cover 2 hole shot that Wilson undercooks and it gets intercepted lol

and we've got bowser on the cheap too
and maybe daelin hayes can get over his injury troubles and deliver on the flashes of promise he showed last year

we probably sign a vet to tide us over until Ojabo's able to be back
but it does unfortunately mean that Ferguson probably survives cutdown day

I'm curious to see what Macdonald can do with Ferguson in our scheme. Maybe he can get a sack or two

Any possible trade candidates at CB? I can’t help but feel more concerned about CB than WR. Lamar’s best year came when WR 2/3/4 we’re a combo of Snead, Moore, Boykin, and Roberts.

well idk that there's much there with Mims tbh - hard to really say because he was used a ton on clear outs and shit like that when he was on the field

but the most illuminating thing was how far away Zach Wilson is from being an NFL QB with regards to his processing - he was bad enough in year 1 that I think if year 2's poor too that the Jets might not even let him have another chance in year 3 and just move on then

2nd overall? They gotta at least see how fares in September of year 3. If you added a GREAT qb to the jets next year, they’d probably still be a year off, might as well see it through.

idk man - i think with this draft they just had and last year's with maybe mekhi becton back that they're really not far away at all - think if you add a QB at a decent level in 2023 (either Zach Wilson stepped up or new guy) then they're gonna start being competitive

and if the dude doesnt have it, doesnt matter that he's the 2nd overall pick... sunk cost fallacy
