Based on the way the routes worked he was clearly the number 1 option but Wilson for some reason thought "I want to go after Gilmore" for reasons that I will only assume are because he got that INT on his previous awful throw. Frankly I think running the ball was better (and so did Richard Sherman) but at the end of the day the coach gave them a play to win and the number option was wide open and Russel Wilson decided not to and he is their QB for 4 more years before they eat 31 million to get rid of him and to get QB play like that they paid 2 number 1s 2 number 2s and 3 players.

Yeah I'm not buying the whole "run the ball" thing. That's just Sherman trying to make a funny and a point.

They called a good play, guy was as wide open as it gets by NFL standards. QB just missed seeing him. It's not that difficult. It's exactly what it looks like.

They can't keep going with him if he continues to play like this. They'll cut their losses and try something else. The Broncos fandom will be screaming for blood if this level of play persists especially from the QB. However, I do believe that he'll recover from his loss of confidence and form. While he may never be a Brady or a Lamar Jackson, he'll be serviceable. He will never win the AFC West till they have Mahomes and Herbert in that division... very interesting state of affairs.

Wait till the 11th game. Watson will suck even worse than Wilson. He literally hasn't played for 2 full years. Well, I'll take that back. He's played around with massage therapists, but not football.

I never thought it was gonna be an easy game. Wink is definitely gonna get this defense fired up so our offense can not afford to give away the ball.
