No cap. Did I say that right?Cap experts say we cant afford dhop nor sutton
Was just coming here to say thisWonder if the broncos would do a draft day trade after we trade back to like 28-32, giving us jeudy and a 3 for a late first and maybe some small time player to sweeten the pot.
Would be dope to trade back and pick up a day 2 pick, then trade way back into day 2 grabbing jeudy in the process, and having plenty of day 2 picks
I dnt remember who said it i just remember that when it was said, the person was for certain that we couldnt make any moves at wrNo cap. Did I say that right?
I'll see myself out.......
Well tbh regardless of who we sign or draft i don't think we'll be ready.I dnt remember who said it i just remember that when it was said, the person was for certain that we couldnt make any moves at wr
I meant whatever the kids are saying nowadays lol "no cap"I dnt remember who said it i just remember that when it was said, the person was for certain that we couldnt make any moves at wr
Wow I thought he was way bigger than that? Like I was thinking he was 6’5 280 for some reason…
Even though ive always argued that mecole was not a good wr, i rather have him than duv
I think we could with a vet wr like dhop.. the only thing that would make me have doubts is our 1st yr OC.Well tbh regardless of who we sign or draft i don't think we'll be ready.
Man I'm pissed at EDC and Harbs for even having us in this position. Waited too damn long to address an underlying issues we have had for years with the WRs. We have a #1 wr who can't stay healthy and doesn't even want to be here. #2 and 3 are ??. We don't have cap this year to address it... what the fudge!
MacFarland knows the Ravens cap back to front but he's very conservative about what can/should be done to create space.Cap experts say we cant afford dhop nor sutton
So we 100% can, BUT, I'm not sure we can do it until the Lamar situation is resolved. If we're talking both Sutton and Hopkins specifically, it would require modifications to the contract OR those teams eating a substantial portion of their salary for this year (which usually requires a higher draft pick). Both both could pretty easily be restructured to save cap.I dnt remember who said it i just remember that when it was said, the person was for certain that we couldnt make any moves at wr
I don't think McFarland hates void years. Most cap experts actually support them. I think there are teams like the Eagles, Saints, etc. who make them like the backbone of their cap management, and use them probably too liberally, but most cap experts realize they're a necessary evil and greatly benefit teams that are looking to win in the short run.MacFarland knows the Ravens cap back to front but he's very conservative about what can/should be done to create space.
I imagine he's hating these void years but they're basically interest free loans and with, the big cap increases scheduled over the next few years, it would be foolish not to take advantage - particularly with longer term contracts.
I’m still surprised we aren’t hearing MP rumors with other teams. Seems like a good sign for him returning so farSo what's up this week? Signing Ya Sin? Trying to bring back MP? Calais? WR trade? Lamar?
