Lamar Jackson

Im saying anyone can get deal done just to say they did.. its not like lamar cant just get any deal, he just feels like he worth a billion dollars like you said
Right. An agent would have told Lamar what nobody in his camp has told him so far. That whatever he's asking for he won't get. And the longer he waits to get paid it, the longer he plays at even further below his value than he wants.

It ain't like these agents are out here suggesting they'd have gotten Lamar $20M a year. Every single agent in this league would have gotten Lamar at least a top 2-3 deal for a QB in league history. And they, at the very least, would have done it many months ago, if not years ago.

yeah I mean I personally think Herbert, Allen, and Mahomes are all better than him. After that, his upside is the best, but he has issues

Not even two 1st round picks now. I'd say one 1st rounder and 1-2 players depending on their talent.

Do you think other teams want to deal with this in another three years if he signs a contract with them? Not a chance. Other
teams know what we offered and are fucking stunned he didn't take it.

Lamar has gone from a happy ,optimistic ,team oriented player to what we have now .

I honestly don't want the current Lamar on my team. I want the old Lamar but I think he is gone.

Based on comments during yesterday's conference , I don't think the Ravens want to keep him either
I wonder if the plan is to have the colts pick a QB at 4 and then a Lamar trade for that QB afterward.

We will sign an extension with Lamar before this season starts.

I don't think the Ravens want him anymore. Did you see Harbaugh and Decosta's faces yesterday??

DeCosta even said hes open to drafting a QB. I'm sure that didn't sit well with Lamar. He probably fuming.

And to think there was a time long ago ,at least i thought , that we could get 3 1st rounders for him .LOL

To the contrary, I think he has basically told them, its over and not try to let the world know they want him back. He may have told them that is the reason he is not getting offers because teams believe they will match any offer they advance to him. This is my take on it. The Ravens would be stumbling idiots to move on from him because they are losing 10s of thousands of fans (non-local) and thousands of local fans for his loss. There is a large group of fans that hate the Ravens for dealing with his contract in such a shabby manner. EDC isn't a very popular man in Baltimore right now, guaranteed. There will be an outcry to bring Ozzie back and fire Harbaugh if Lamar isn't there and we invariably have a terrible losing season.

But, I agree with your assessment that the ship has sailed. Lamar and the Ravens have moved their separate ways. I speak as his father with a very heavy heart.

We getting Levis aren’t we?
man rubbing chin.gif

Why it gotta be Levis?

I don’t know a single person that thinks the Ravens have handled the contract negotiations poorly.
Not sure where you are getting that idea from .
Lamar has been offered a massive amount of money and turned it down.

This is perplexing to me. We've evidently presented a ton of options to Lamar for how we can structure his contract. I don't know many people out there that think the offer from September is unreasonable in anyway - basically $175 mil guaranteed for a QB that hasn't finished either of the last two seasons and hasn't played particularly well in the playoff games where he wasn't on the bench to end the year.

Is your definition of not being "stumbling idiots" agreeing to whatever value Lamar thinks he's worth?

To answer your question... yes, that's what his definition is.

He 100% considers Lamar a "blank check" guy.
