Agree, but I think there’s a 5 hour difference so they are playing at 2:30. But yeah, why not move it to 5 or 7?
As it is it’s mostly just fans of the two teams playing that watch at 8:30 or 9:30.

I would bet a large sum of $ that the game does significantly better ratings as a morning US game as opposed to putting in in a timeslot where it's competing with other games.

Its effectively a primetime game.

Or put another way... NFL network would pay substantially less $ to the NFL to broadcast a game between 1-5pm ET in London than they would to broadcast a game at 930am ET

Sure it will have more viewers than your average game in a 1est time slot, but....

How much of that being the only game on is lost to people not wanting to wake up for it? You also lose the church before football crowd which in the south is a massive demo. I know it's a big draw but It can't be anything near any of the other primetime slots even Thursday behind it's paywall I bet pulls better numbers

Man... usually after a loss I can't even watch Football the rest of the day. The fact this game is at 9:30am, if we lose then I'm going to be miserable the rest of the day. At least I can sleep it off unless it's a primetime game and I'm still miserable the next day after a loss. We better win.
