Even with an injury, second round players don't drop as far as Vorhees did, especially in a weak draft class for guards.I mean I know predraft evaluations are not much to go off of but outside of RG the line is either highly drafted, or would have been. 2 first round picks, RR a second round pick, and Vorhees was slated to be a 2nd round pick if not for his injury forcing him to miss a year (I still think he will be a pro bowl player). RG just seems like the odd position out.
I mean if I were drafting I would have taken him late 1 because I firmly believe he is a pro bowl level G and possibly better. I get though when I was looking through other evaluations people saying he was a late 2nd round pick before injury that might be available later because Gs are very undervalued (and the NFL as a whole is bad at evaluating them).Even with an injury, second round players don't drop as far as Vorhees did, especially in a weak draft class for guards.
Glad he's playing well between Stanley and Linderbaum, but he wasn't a surefire, can't miss prospect.
