The King, the Lamar, and the 3rd Quarter

I swear to you, no one should disagree with this. The fact that Lamar has been in MVP conversations in both years since his departure speaks volumes. Now granted we improved our pass-catcher situation but still.
Thinking that guy Henry might have something to do with it too. lol

I don't recall Harty looking good at all and being perpetually injured
Depends how you define good. I never had a good feeling that we were getting some huge return, but I never had a bad feeling that he was going to put the ball on the ground or opt to not field a fieldable ball. These other guys may have a little more juice, but also a lot more risk.

At this point, catching it is enough. Kinda crazy that over the course of the entire year we couldn't find a mediocre guy

Exactly. Just need someone to catch the damn ball without bobbling or dropping it.

Any word on Lamar and his torso?

We had one all along. Just provided no value outside of returns and I think they were trying to better use a roster spot on someone that could return and do a little something more. Might be at the stage where they just say fuck it and play it on the safe side as we get into the games where avoiding mistakes is critical.

Since we’re on a ST kick, Stout is so frustrating as a punter. Had a kick with no returner and put too much on it - too much distance and not enough hang time. Then he turns around and has one die in the perfect spot next go around. Kinda been his career story at this stage… inconsistent as fuck but the good signs make you want to keep working with him. I think I’d be looking to bring in some competition heading into next season.

We were spoiled having Koch.

Neither Buffalo nor Houston scares me. KC scares me to death. Glad we put the lesser Steelers in their place. Glad Lamar got another good playoff performance under his belt. Glad Lamar beat the Steelers again.

Desmond king looked by far the most comfortable, he just fumbled during the return.

I’d give him the nod again, I thought we jumped the gun on him anyway

I like King as a punt returner but he fumbled the ball twice in one game against the steelers which was a big game for the team at the time. I think at this point the coaching staff probably would be more trusting of a former pro bowl returner in Deonte Harty than him at this moment. Also it's not a guarantee that Zay Flowers will be returning in the ravens next playoff game so even if the team does decide to give King another chance it's probably highly likely they active Harty to 53 man squad whom has more receiver ability than Sims.
