It’s certainly strange. We’ve never done something like this before, either trading multiple first round picks or pulling out of trades. I think it’ll not have a major impact. I’m less concerned about league perception long or short term. I’m more upset we lost out on Maxx Crosby. Now we signed Hendrickson and he isn’t the same player, frankly.

This is a really fair point, actually.

Harbaugh is obviously bringing in several ex Ravens to New York because they're HIS guys. I would imagine if the Ravens REALLY wanted to retain some of these guys (sans Linderbaum), they could have.

I hope they reconsider Linderbaum and take a shot at getting him back. Big loss there.

Think some people are being too harsh on Trey, if only because we had Crosby in our grips and lost him. 5 days ago if someone said we'd get Trey, people would be hyped. We'll see if they land it but does seem they pivoted that way.

But that falls in category we didn't know. And I just dont believe Vegas are legitimate scammers. Because as I was trying to articulate earlier, if they were obviously scamming, this exact situation would happen. And this situation is bad for them. Like really bad.

Add in the perception from the other teams are that we bitched out and it's hard for me to be confident we are in the right.
