Hopefully we'll be able to finish with picking teams tomorrow and we can finally open up the trading window.

I think this is in order - Browns, 49ers, Panthers, Packers, and now, the Ravens.

49ers(2014) - Jim Harbaugh was let go, and a bunch of crazy retirements happened following Harbaugh's departure.

Panthers(2015) - We had picked teams prior to the Super Bowl, you picked the Panthers and they lost the Super Bowl to the Broncos days later.

Packers(2016 or 2017?) - Started 4-6, finished 10-6 and won NFC North. Went all the way to NFC Title Game before losing to Atlanta in 2016. Or did you have them last year and curse them with the Aaron Rodgers injury?

I'm a bit worried with you having the Ravens this year. The teams you have had in the game have not had good results and we need to end the playoff drought.

Yes let’s clearly Blame Simba for the terrible luck in SF due to the megadouche owner. It’s his fault that Cam Newton didn’t fall on the fumble. It’s his fault that the Packers management is the opposite of ravens and only addresses the offensive side of the ball.

Smh dude. Smh

Browns - This actually was a pretty good team. I parlayed my two first round picks that year into Clowney, Brandon Marshall, and I think two 3rd round picks. One of my 3rd round picks, Brandon Thomas, tore his Achilles or something like 2 days after I drafted him, but I also had a ridiculous amount of picks that year. I was weak at QB that year but still had Hoyer who probably could have done something with the talent around him. Never expected to take that team to a SB contender in one year but I gave them a solid shot at the playoffs.

49ers - This was my disaster year, and it still wasn't as terrible as it could have been. This is the one year I picked at the end of the draft so team options were slim anyways. Of course, the mass retirements hurt but what can you do about that? That organization doomed itself before I had control of it.

Panthers - This was probably my best year in all honesty, if I'm factoring in injuries. I built that team with an eye toward a return the next year, and I was smart enough to keep Josh Norman. My first round pick, William Jackson, did get hurt but that was a BPA pick and I think he was 4th on my depth chart. That pick turned out fine based on his performance last year.

Packers - Rodgers did get hurt and I would have had some OL problems due to injuries as well, but at least I actually built them a defense. The Byron Maxwell trade didn't work out but that was also a swap for Cobb who I would have cut anyways. I had ridiculous CB depth though - 10 of the 11 CBs on my roster started the season on a 53 last year. Ignoring injuries, this was my best year by a long shot.

So what you're saying is it's an every other year deal?

Think it shows more that the bad luck came when I picked already bad teams. Packers look bad but I'm sure most teams had similar issues with the number of huge injuries the NFL last year.

I'm going to go with the every other year theory and the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl this year.

I can accept that lol. I can also take the heat if it doesn't work out - but this team has also had plenty of bad luck without me so that blame can likely be thrown on the Indian burial ground that is the Castle.

I know as Ravens fans we're supposed to hate the Patriots, but you could do a whole lot worse than them as the last pick in this thing. Not a bad pull for Bold.

Sorry everyone, I'm on my phone right now and since I moved in a new appartment don't have Internet this week. I'll update my depth chart this week-end

Woo. Now discuss trades with me since it’s a super slow day and I actually have some time to figure stuff out.

I'll get it started before the trade block thread is up.

Looking for WRs. Prefer ones with a pulse but ones without a pulse might be an upgrade as well. I'll take your offers via fax. Thank you.

Don't actually follow up and post trade things here. I'm just here to be a smartass. I imagine 98% of my posts with be worthless in nature this year.
