I just see edge rusher as a bigger need than LB, but Queen fills a hole and he has good coverage speed.

When you watch queen in coverage and diagnosing gaps it's a totally different game to murray who is a clueless rocket

I feel like 2nd has to be IOL and WR

I like the pick, I thought it would be either him or Queen. Didn't like ESPN spoiling the surprise though; showing Queen somewhat emotional with his girlfriend/sister slapping him on his leg and everybody looked excited.

Oh man we have to go WR and OL tomorrow

Yeah, maybe with a gun.

With Queen I dont think there's anything we can really complain about the prospect...

you could argue the value of the position and you could argue for other players still on the board but looking at Queen himself I think there's almost nothing not to like

Guess we don't really see Epenesa fitting in at a 3-4 edge

I would not be surprised if its another defensive front 7 pick. This is the perfect draft to reload the defense for the next few years.

I hope we can get Cushenberry or Hunt with one of our second round picks as we could use iOL, if we don’t use it to trade back up to get Mims or Espensa.

Exactly, Queen knows what he’s seeing, he’s processing the play pre snap. His initial step on the play is akin to an elite pass rushers first step, he’s not hesitating, he’s anticipating the snap and flying play side as the ball is snapped, he’s got a RARE trigger which is what got me on his bandwagon after shitting on him the whole offseason lol

Kenneth Murray is an athlete playing LB
Patrick Queen is a LB who's an athlete

I wouldn't mind trading back up for McKinney before in these final picks.

when breaking down needs by unit pre-draft it was clear that this front 7 needs young talent at any position - i guarantee that we're not done adding talent to that unit
