I hate how Rich Eisen keeps harping on Josh Rosen still not being traded and still being a Cardinal. I get it, at some point he will be traded and no longer a Cardinal but he doesn't need to be traded tonight. You don't want injuries but if something happens to a starting QB in Training Camp/Preseason, they can get better value from a desperate team looking for an immediate starter.

It's time to move Yanda to center. I'm assuming we can still land a starting guard this weekend. Brown is a very very good piece. Let the draft play out
Think big picture.

id really like us to come away with one of these 3 guys at some point tomorrow or saturday:

nate davis
beau benzschawel
lamont gaillard

As they’ve said don’t expect us to have Hollywood go fly every play. We’re going to move him all over find ways to get the ball on his hands

We need explosive offensive players. We need someone who can make people pay for stacking the box.

One under mentioned part of his game is how he can sit down on third and medium. He's really adept at doing this underneath.

also the 2 teams with the most interest in rosen both drafted qbs - rosen's market has completely disappeared right about now

As always I’ll see the upside, because there definitely is upside, I just really didn’t fucking want him, he isn’t a fit, and I worry like hell about the fact that he’s ABs cousin and nicknamed hollywood, that sounds like a disaster

he's also from Hollywood , FL

Alright, the 5th year option when taking a QB is critical, especially if Lock is going to learn from Rivers or Brady. He has to go here or 32 to the Pats. Unless someone else trades up for him ahead of New England.

I like Hollywood but if we could not do anything with Smokey when Lamar became our QB...why do we think Hollywood is going to be productive. Just asking because it just seems to me that Sweat would have been a good replacement for Sizzle and Ford would have been our an immediate upgrade at LG.

Hollywood Brown is a very bad pick. He is fragile as glass, and is too small. You can tackle him with a finger. Jackson won’t be able to find him and if he does can’t throw it far enough to catch him.

This pick is worse than the Lamar Jackson pick.

i like what he said to matt harmon earlier yesterday:

Spoke with Marquise Brown, my No. 1 WR, yesterday. Notes:
- We had a good laugh at those who think the combine weight is his true weight.
- Favorite route: Comeback, can mess with the DBs head.
- His key to being a great route runner: Varying routes and never running full speed.

that 2nd point is pretty telling i think

Miami is the only team left, unless they like Drew Lock and trade back in with the Seahawks who may want to accumulate more draft picks.

Hollywood is more than a deep threat. Put that guy on a 3 yard screen, he'll get ten yards.

Our passing attack sputtering towards the end had just as much to do with Marty as it did with Lamar being raw.

I hope we take him.

the longer your average depth of target the harder it is to build chemistry - lamar had basically a week and a half to build chemistry with a deep weapon who he'd never thrown passes to before in an offence that wasnt built around a particularly complex scheme because of its short term changes

marquise brown is also a guy who does a lot of work closer to the LoS and over the middle on slants etc. more than john brown

honestly they are very different players - marquise brown stylistically is much more like desean jackson or tyreek hill than he is like john brown
