Damn he still slides, no way in hell Atlanta passes on him. He’s an Atlanta defensive prospect if I’ve ever seen one

I almost get it though. With all of these guys kind of looking similar, might as well just get the guy you like, media value be damned. I don't like Grant this high but I can't say there are many guys head over heels better than him either.

more just the fact he's purely a nose tackle and doesn't offer you a ton in terms of pass rush right now

there's a reason jordan davis hasnt necessarily panned out and he was even freakier than grant

I liked Grant as a late 1st guy, but not over Nolen and Harmon. Also happy to see Warren going to push people down to us.

Grants upside is something that’s just not discussed enough. Sure he’s an athletic 1/0tech right now and probably a 2 down guy, but if that dude finds the pass rush toolkit at a high level, look the fuck out

Yeah I get it. I think there's some room to grow there for sure, and the fact that it isn't in the toolkit right now is why I had him more late 1st. But again, if you like a guy, get them in this draft. There's not much top end talent so if you think you can mold one, I respect it.
