no one's asking when's jalen milroe gonna come off the board
but also... if jalen milroe's still hanging around in R4, i'd happily pick him to be QB3 and develop into lamar's backup
Absolutely. He’d quickly be qb2, and if things go well he should get some fourth quarters to show something and garner us a trade in a few years

And at this point, do you even want the media circus that follows?

probably why some teams that don't need starters are a bit hesitant
if a team's looking for a starter then it might be worth the risk, if a team's just looking for a backup to develop, is he worth the noise might be part of the calculation

it's also possible he absolutely bombed all the interviews

Idk why but my gut says this pick is gonna feel like it's out of left field and we're gonna hate it until the guy becomes a dude in 2-3 years

For someone with his talent level? No.

Someone elsewhere made a good point-

Let's say he goes to a situation like LA where he sits for a couple years and Deion is going to act like it's great.

You just know the moment Stafford has a mediocre game, Deion will be in the media telling us how Shedeur would have won the game by throwing 8 touchdowns.
