Not many teams have a Mekari type. He's a rare one.

Yeah I thought we would have drafted a defensive linemen by now. I like Pegues , Stackhosue , and Peebles. Not sure about any other defensive lineman talent

Honestly it's never bad to take extra swings on OL.

I'm honestly not sure. I checked and any warnings should have been gone in February.

Seems he's not here by his own choice, which admittedly fine with me. He was having a major crash out the last time he was here.

But I don’t think that makes sense because you typically want to pair a young QB with a veteran who has experience. That’s going to be a dramatic QB room for no reason now.

I mean Flacco is the veteran this year and they can always grab a journeyman for the practice squad if they want another for next year. It really just Deon how either of them develop this year.

To be fair, why not take players from the best programs in the country?

I don't have anything to back this up, but I'd imagine you're more likely to get starters when drafting from top 10 programs than any other program. Maybe the superstar value isn't always there, but good teams are usually good for a reason.
