He's incredibly talented
Probably a top 15-20 talent in this class

But there goes the zero-tolerance policy

2 allegations of sexual assault. 1 in high school, 1 in college that forced him to transfer schools. EDC and the front office better be absolutely 100% sure on those allegations or this is potentially unforgivable for an organisation that decided to take a stance after Ray Rice.

I can't believe they took this guy with the Justin Tucker allegations as well...

Listen, I don't think they went off the rockers all of a sudden. No way they pick him had they not done everything possible to clear him.

Thus, they and Mike Green can't be prisoners of what Tucker did.

it's just in the past, zero tolerance meant they weren't touching anyone with any suspicion of DV or SA in their background

they just picked a guy with 2 different SA allegations

he'll get to compete in camp but it feels like it's gonna be him vs isaac for OLB 5 and a 53 man spot
and if it's close, the tie will obviously go to the guy with 3 years of contractual control and a chance to develop vs the guy with only 1 year of contractual control
 
long before any of the allegations surfaced, I was watching Mike green, and he was my #2 edge, top ten kinda player.

I’m still in total disbelief.

I seriously hope there are no TMZ stories or anything of the sort involving him, and that maybe he just made a mistake in high school and it’s followed him ever since and he’s genuinely just tried to be a better person every day since then.

Again I’ve seen no details on the allegations, so idk how bad it is or if it sounds false or anything, I just fully assumed he was not getting drafted by us. It makes me uneasy thinking about some women lawyering up in a month to come after him, right after the shit with Tucker. It’s a shit feeling when the team you’ve supported your whole life is defending players that are doing this shit.

Best pass rush prospect the ravens have drafted since Suggs, straight up, if he plays and is drama free, steal of the draft, changes the outlook of the whole team, this defense is shaping up to become an all time great kinda unit, the kinda talent we’ve added in the past 3 years on defense is fucking insane.

On the last part… there’s still more to come too. DL, LB, and CB are all gonna get looks today. There are always spots for veterans, but a young, hungry, and fast defense in the next 2 years or so has me excited. It’s wild how cyclical it can be.

maybe they can get a late round pick for him or he's another year removed from his ACL tear. That being said, I'm not expecting anything from him.

still a few EDGE guys i like on the board
obviously we havent got much space for them on the roster but if they're the value...

Jordan Phillips and Joshua Farmer are my favourites of the DL still on the board - think they both have power and explosion and length that we should covet

He’s probably the type of guy at this point you flip for a conditional pick, or another out of favor former draft pick. Wouldn’t even be totally shocked if we flipped him today in a trade up.

They arent defending him at all though from what ive seen. Its just not enough facts or any evidence at all that says he did any of this. Now like you said, they could be lawyering up soon as he sign that rookie contract.. if he did rape anyone, i hope he gets dealt with because rape is not a mistake…
 
Thoughts on the first two picks

-Starks is a ball hawk with range which was an issue last year until we slapped Hamilton back there
-Hamilton moves back closer to the line
-instantly improves QB pressure
-Green, in the words of @JoeyFlex5 best prospect I've seen us draft since Suggs (I love you Tim Williams)


If these two guys are really what they say they are then our defense is going to be one of those great Ravens defenses we know and loved
