Let him RIP. For a quick second there, my mind immediately registered Bart Scott since that was the Bart that immediately came to mind. Relieved but sad for Bart Starr at the same time...

Really said to see such a great QB pass away today. He was the MVP of the first two Super Bowls.

Starr had a 900 winning percentage in the postseason. To put that into perspective, Brady would have to win 60 more playoff games without a loss to match that. Also he has the record for passer rating in the postseason at 104.

Bart Starr was the man when I was a very little boy. Not quite the legend Johnny U. was in Baltimore, but he was certainly talked about as one of the greats.
