My friend and I have a friendly predictions competition every year. The loser buys the winner a steak dinner. They're supposed to be varying levels of bold to ridiculous (safe picks are boring). Here's what we have so far for you consideration and derision:

His:
- Kyler Murray rushes for 900+ yards and scores (rush or reception) 6+ TDs.
- Baker Mayfield is the league MVP.
- Dolphins get the #1 overall pick but beat the Pats.
- Josh Rosen out-throws Lamar.

Mine:
- Lamar goes for more than 3500 yards from scrimmage (rush + passing). Lamar goes for more than 5000 yards combined and breaks Michael Vick's single season QB rushing record (NOW it's bold).
- Dolphins go 0-16.
- Daniel Jones has more passing yards for the season than Kyler Murray.
- Joe Flacco leads the Broncos to at least the divisional round.

I wouldn't consider this a bold statement at all, when you account for rushing yards in the total. If he has 750 rushing yards, which is extremely conservative and 2,750 yards passing the ball (171 ypg), then he has 3500 yards from scrimmage. Even 3500 yards from scrimmage passing isn't very bold as it's only 218 ypg.

Ah you're right - went too easy on that one. I'll recalibrate it.

Not sure what I'm missing but why is everybody so high on the Packers?

Koch throws two TD passes and Justin Tucker kicks a 65 or 66 yard field goal, whichever breaks the record.
