That is also true. I think it is much harder to find quality EDGE outside the first round and even Top 10-15. Those guys go early. If we can get one, we pounce even if we need to trade up to get one.

as long as you're not hunting for elite OT talent, you can find OL prospects outside of R1

but yeah EDGE is a lot harder to find those impact 3 down guys early
you can find edge setters and you can find undersized DPR style guys later but if you want a guy who can earn the right to rush the passer and then actually be an impact guy, those guys are tough to find outside the top 20 picks
 
Where does Makai Lemon ranked to you guys? I’m watching him now after PFF mocked him to us. Catches / plays like Puka.

I wouldn’t mind another 1st round WR

I'm not the biggest fan of a WR in the first, but Lemon is a great player. He seems like a bigger, stronger version of Zay Flowers.

For first round WRs I would kinda prefer Denzel Boston simply because he adds something to the group that we don't already have with his size and catch radius. He looks like a great, high volume type of WR that keeps the drive moving.

We need any WR. Bateman not gonna be here for long. Not after the szn he just had.

I just want a tough, physical runner that catches with his hands.
 
Makai is OK. My biggest issue with him is I’m not sure he will be able to separate in the NFL. He’s quicker than fast but I think he’s quick because of his route running. Makai is a great route runner and probably better than Zay was but I think Zay is faster than Makai.

I do like Boston. I don’t love taking a WR in the first because I think we really need an Edge or DL there. 3rd round is a good spot if we can land one there.

Maybe I need to clarify, but "work out" should translate to "been superstars or close to it"

Hollywood was good, solid, but never spectacular. Zay is a really good WR, easily the best we've ever drafted. He's certainly above Hollywood in skillset.

If it's BPA then yeah, do it. We need help at a lot of spots. I'd rather we be aggressive to go up and get an Elite Edge. I feel we've shown & the league has shown you can find those stud WRs throughout but it's much harder to find gamewrecking Edge guys.

also easy to miss on those guys at the top too - or at least not get what you hoped vs the other guys available
