The Defense, the Turnovers, and the Redzone

God Rosengarten really got beat there. I’m sure that was his man and he just whiffed. Yeah, Faalele was bad but Rosengarten was debatably worse. It’s also a terrible play design. 84 and 72 both block the same guy? A chip block sure but that was just a bad design or bad execution or both

I’ve never seen a player end up on his ass as often as him

I pray to got we try Ben Cleveland and Corey Bullock coming out of the bye, because both these Guards are ass.

At some point, you just need to switch it up and hope something clicks.

Not sure if the ravens want Ben Cleveland and Corey bullock starting unless they end up signing more center depth because none of the back ups can pay center outside for Cleveland and Bullock

I'm assuming this play is meant to combo block Jared Verse and have Andrew Vorhees move on to the remaining backer. Hat on a hat, sure. But there isn't a tight end in the league who's pushing Verse into the end zone in one on one. Let alone Zaire Mitchell-Paden, and with that technique.

Defense did do pretty well imo. At least we have that but Cooper Rush is buns. Hopefully we get Lamar back after the bye.

That’s my issue with it. If it was a design I can’t imagine they drew it up that way. If they did what a horrible design that is. I don’t hate the idea but the execution and design seem awful. I’m hoping it was just really bad player execution

Like most of our team, the offensive line seems to crumble in the crucial moments. The totality of their effort today wasn't bad. The running game had a resurgence. But when it came to red zone touches and a drive in the 4th that could have made this a competitive game, they sucked ass.

But make no mistake, the QB play was abysmal today. Offensive line could have been perfect and we still aren't winning with what Rush put on film. I don't have much question that we win this game with Lamar at the helm.

The OL was guilty of our initial stalled momentum IIRC. Those penalties really killed us. One of our greatest issues this year is early success resulting in FG due to inability to capitalise in the red zone. If my memory serves me right, a lot of that comes from these holding, false start, or other bone head OL presnap penalties. The fumbles and turnovers aside.

We won’t talk about Rush or Huntley. It is what it is there

But that's what I'm saying. Up and down the field? Functional unit. Inside the red zone and at the critical moments? That's when they fail for some reason.

I do think Monken has had a real tough season with his play calls in the red zone, so I'm sure that doesn't help.

The offense is broken right now for sure. It sucks that it has to be this way, but Lamar is the only thing coming to save it.

Instead of worrying about what if our center and the backup gets hurt, why don’t we worry about our starting Gs being so bad that they already got our qb hurt

That sounds good but you still got to have options at back up center if you going to have Ben Cleveland and Corey Bullock starting. Think the ravens want a legit upgrade at the guard and we don't know if Bullock and Cleveland are that. It's clear the ravens need upgrade at both positions if not just left guard but we shall see what they do. The ball is in EDC court

What's the deal with Ronnie's injury?

And why does every defender sound like they're reading off the same damn script in regards to Orr.
