Standing on the base sounds good, but it would never happen.

So let's say there's ball grounded back to the pitcher, he comes home get's the out. If Alonso is just standing there good chance there's a triple play to be had. lol

They're always moving out farther on the base path with the windup anyway. That was a fluke. But we get burned with errors and, if you believe that stuff, luck is not on our side, generally. Like I say, I want to believe, but I feel like my steadfastness is constantly challenged.
