The Refs, the Special Teams, and the Mistakes

First and foremost, we were bad a didn't really deserve to win. But if the NFL is going to continue to be this level of incompetent when officiating, how am I gonna bring myself to keep watching nonsense?

rodgers only had to have the ball for a split second before he was ruled to have possession
likely apparently extending the ball doesn't count as a football move and therefore his 2 steps are apparently not enough for possession
Shut up, rossi! lol

That was a wrong call. I don't ride the refs and never blame them for losses, but this was a FIX.

The penalty on Linderbaum... please.

They love us being underdogs. They love us being angry about calls and then they defeat us after a controversial call.

And, btw... Fire John Harbaugh. Right now. The deer in the headlights look when something doesn't go his way is UNK.

Lamar got to learn to take the easy play and stop trying to go for the big play especially in big moments. Like I don't understand why he keep making that mistake but it is what it is . Atleast the game was somewhat entertaining

Agreed. Several plays today of that variety. Thankfully were bailed out by the plays after, but he had Pat Ricard open once underneath and only threw it to avoid a sack. Going for the go-ball to Deandre Hopkins instead of the inside throw to Mark Andrews. The last one, unfortunately, did not have an opportunity for another play to redeem it and it finally bit us.

Kill every ref
The plus side is that Lamar looks like himself. A plethora of unique and effective playcalls today. We went on a huge run offensively on 4 straight drives that could have, should have been even better if not for the miscues and questionable calls. Back-to-back weeks where a play is called one way against us and not against the other team. Brutal. I am fairly confident we hold them to no more than 3 if the TD wasn't taken away.
We’ve given Lamar horrible WRs and a bad line.

11 point swing from the officials puts everything else to bed for me. Fuck. That.
I really don’t want to hear about anything else. Absolutely insane what we just saw, like the old Steeler refs. No wonder Bill Homer Cowered doesn’t recognize it

To be fair, Zay Flowers balled out today. And Likely would've had two TDs if they called it right. The only misfire I can put on the receiving group as a whole is the drop by Rashod Bateman.

I love that you picked the Roger's possession, btw. That's not even what lost us the game. The Zebras not knowing what a catch is or isn't is still the key.

For sure. He just has a habit at times trying to go for the big play and I get him trying to close the game or make a play but sometimes you got take what the defense is given you and live for another down. This is what is causing him to mess up the playoffs as well and I'm just not sure why he hasn't settled down yet.

Ravens not firing Harbs and EDC. Like if anything EDC is the most safest and he shouldn't be fired at all.
Why? Harbs and EDC have now wasted 4+ years of Lamar's career by not bothering to put a good line in front of him. That alone should be a fireball offense, couple that with other roster decisions EDC has made and I don't see why either of them should be here next season

Agreed! Stop wasting my time! I rather whittle a little trinket than watch this shit show. BTW F..K HARBLOW!

I should've turned off the game the moment after that busted play on 3rd down happened. Like I said before, I can handle a blowout MUCH more than a close loss. This shit is beyond infuriating. I want to make the playoffs and be delusional enough to go on a deep run. I'm sure I'll have more thoughts later on.

It's over man. Harblow is stale and overrated as a coach. Moken sucks. EDC won't give LJ an O line that will protect him. The D doesn't start balling until halfway through the season...and they sucked today. Burn it down!

With that said, let the eulogy begin.

We are GATHERED here today to stick a fork in this abysmal season. The only thing we celebrate here is our time we spend together on this forum talking shit and cracking jokes. As for this team, they can kick rocks. When you start the season 1-5 and lose key games like the Bills, Chiefs, AND Texans, you're bound to have little leverage in playoff scenarios.

May this team be blessed with good fortune and lots of success for the next season as we lay this season down to rest.

I feel the pain. Likely got one foot down, then a second foot down, but he never completed the 3rd step football move before he was striped.
