Among all the things I like about Kubiak is that his system is inexpensive in terms of players; it doesn't need elite players to thrive. If he has them, it's another level, but even without them, he still makes it work. Given Lamar's contract, we shouldn't lose sight of the depth

Also Lamar ran more under centre the last couple of years

If kubiak is as rigid structurally as this on offence he wouldn’t have been successful or have made it past a first interview

Doesnt Kliff Kingsbury have his QB always in shotgun for the most part? Makes all the Kliff rumors a head scratcher.

I dont know why anyone thinks of him like he's a slam dunk. I've been saying the offensive coaches this cycle blow and that changed only with McDaniel's firing. After we chose not to go with him, I am firmly in give me Minter, Saleh, or Flores. Obviously the last two are out so Minter it is.

I don't think many see it as a slam dunk but if we're going to make this move go big or go home at this point. A move like Weaver while it might not be a bad hire it feels lateral.
