I will always associate his Ravens years with a big drop off in play quality of our front after coach Brooks passing. Whether it was him, players, DC - I don't know but bad memories are still here. Extra pissed off that we didn't bring Dunbar from Bama instead and he ended in Pittsburgh.
 
I like that Tart kid from the Chargers. Every time I watched a game he was involved. Wonder if Minty can get him

You’re right. Clarence Brooks (I think his name was) was the guy I was thinking about. I think I was confusing the two.

This potential hire makes me wonder? Does Minter prioritize DL coaching for his scheme and is this the best DL coach he’s tied to?

Local guy. Good dude. He’s generally pretty plugged in, and much more than me in this case. I know who they’d like to keep around from the current staff but admittedly have no clue what the plan is for outside assistants.

It was because of our insistence on Brandon Williams being our primary DL and investing nothing into the front outside of him

where's he getting this shiny new toy lol?

only real DL on the market this offseason in free agency is John Franklin-Myers
and idk that any of the good DL are going to be available for trade

fwiw the ravens are big fans of dennis johnson the current DL coach (one of the guys they reportedly blocked from moving laterally to the giants etc.)

just seems so poorly informed as a hiring process

i'd rather you waste prep time writing an essay than preparing the presentation about your ideas and philosophies and how they fit with the organisation and players

stefanski was clearly the only thing stopping that organisation from being the jets the last 6 years and they still sucked
