Coaching Carousel 2026

If I'm trying to pair a couple guys to reshape our whole coaching staff, Kubiak as HC and Saleh or Flores as DC would be very interesting. I think Saleh is less likely to land a HC job of the two after the Jets... but I could be wrong on that.

Monken was making his case on the ryan ripken show today. Not sure if any of yall heard it. I like Murda Monk and the fact that Jackson or his camp came out to defend their relationship was interesting.

as in that it's not just a courtesy
or as in that he'd be a "favourite"

im sure weaver would be a great HC
but if he's the guy, just like Harbs, you live and die as an organisation based on his coordinator hires
Feels like that's inevitable no matter what. If you hire Minter, and he makes a bad hire at OC, how are you going to win games?
If you hire Kubiak, and he ends up with an Orr, how are you going to win games?

We didn't have an elite OC, but we sure as shit didn't have a bad one either.

I would lose my mind if it's Kubiak and he keeps Orr.

Monk is taking the blame for things and defended Lamar Jackson. He said he could have coached him better and had a better relationship with him. Wishes Lamar was healthy and could have seen the direction that he wanted to go in.

I think the argument is that hypothetically Minter or Kubiak would ensure one side of the ball is taken care of game plan and coordinator wise. Meanwhile, with Weaver it would be much like Harbaugh in the sense that he would need to nail both coordinators.

I’d agree with you but who doesn’t run Henry in the 4th quarter of a critical game against the patriots. ???? Complete coaching malpractice.

Todd's a good dude and it's a shame he's getting dragged through the mud too. He and Lamar may not have seen eye to eye this year, but it's never been with animosity or anything. Just a relationship that had run its course.

I like monk, and based on the things I’ve heard it wasn’t ever what they tried making it look like. I liked his approach and everything he said. Handled things with grace and was accountable unlike John and that thing he released didn’t sit right with me

Tod's the man. He did not get enough slack for having to run the offense with Lamar injured for most of the season.

He did fuck up AFCCG, though and a few others. So, there's that

I don't think head coaches that call plays have as much time needed when it comes to game planning. I know it sounds appealing to have a head coach that call plays but even he gets affected when he loses valuable coordinators or position coaches that help with game planning. It's important for such head coaches to nail having position coaches that can step up in game planning roles when needed. I remember the Eagles when they had Doug Pederson as their head coach and his offense didn't look quite the same once Frank Reich left to the head coach of the colts. in regards to Weaver we know he can call plays and been a defensive coordinator before. I doubt he wouldn't want to bring his defensive system which may be similar to what the ravens been running for years to any team he decided to be a head coach of even if he decides that he doesn't want to call plays and since he's been apart of the ravens before he would actually be familar with the defensive system if the ravens owner and general manger believe it's still valuable to keep

How would jim scwartz be as our dc? I think he goes to niners if saleh leaves though but i do wonder about him as a dc

I think if the goal is to win now and we want Lamar to get a ring in his prime, a defensive guy with a good OC would be a really good opportunity and you just don't care about what happens in a year or 2 if you get a ring. Then really go heavy this offseason and give us the best chance to get things done, could be fun.

Refreshing for an exit interview. Also went on to refute that he and Lamar Jackson had a tumultuous relationship. Said he didn't know where that came from.

He was just collateral damage on that one.

Anti-Lamar lobby is in full swing. Motherfuckers.

I need the breaking news on the new 5 years extension before the presser next Tuesday.
