Coaching Carousel 2026

As it should be. Dude is 63, wealthy, really doesn’t need the gig. And his resume is out there for last 18 years. He can pick where he wants to go.
I'm surprised he still wants to keep coaching. I always felt a graceful exit would have been to offer him a job in the Raven's org. But I thought that should have happened 2 seasons ago so we didn't lose McDonald.

I'm down to 4.

You’re missing the best one.

I'm really intrigued by Davis Webb. His age and lack experience may be concerning but the idea of pairing him with Anthony Weaver to be his assistant head coach whom likely be the one that can help keep the ravens way intact would be interesting.

Probably not the right candidate for a win-now squad if you think you need to hire an assistant HC to hold his hand.

He’s too young.

I would feel the same way if the ravens hired Klint Kubiak , Mike McDaniel, or any other coach that's more experienced than him. I think having a guy like Anthony Weaver helps the head coach that hasn't been part of the ravens culture or organization assistance on the ravens way. When John Harbaugh was hired the ravens made sure to keep Rex Ryan and it's likely Ryan provided assistance to John Harbaugh on learning the ravens culture and organization . I think its wise to keep the ravens way intact

I like Klint but having heard him in interviews, he comes across kinda weak. Maybe I haven't watched enough interviews.
He's basically soft spoken like Mike MacDonald but I get why fans like him due to his scheme and how the Seahawks offense looks but im just not sure what his leadership skills is like. It's beneficial that his father was a head coach at the NFl level so he has some knowledge on the responsibilities of a head coach. I just want to like him more than for offensive scheme and I wonder if he would be willing or open to listen to Lamar since it seems like Lamar wants be apart of a offense where he is heard and can add his suggestions rather its new plays or more regarding the offense.

McDaniel never won the division in 4 years. Miami had a 4-20 record against teams with a winning record. Tua was trash but he had talented offensive rosters.

Idk, his results were just so bad and he's a total weirdo. Dont see him as the face of the Ravens the way Steve talks about. But that's just me.

If anyone thought Harbaugh deserved to stay…

Giving up that many yards and losing to this god awful Steelers team not once, but TWICE should be enough to convince you
I'm curious if Steelers fire Tomlin or trade him after this one. Obviously adding Tomlin to the mix would have the same effect as Harbaugh being fired. Plenty of teams, even those with Head Coaches would consider Tomlin.

He'll still be coaching them next year, but then it's a decision to renew the contract or let it run out.
