Coaching Carousel 2026

Just generally speaking, no one knows the reality because Harbaugh reports to Bisciotti and Bisciotti doesn't talk. Any 'reports' you see out there are mere speculation.
It feels like most people are just using Mike Preston's article as a source and at that point, if you are using a Mike Preston article as a source, I don't know what to tell you.

I don't think it's Preston as much as people connecting obvious dots and then trying to pretend that they're hearing something. I think if this season has continued how it was a month or two ago, Harbaugh would be gone without question. I think they've improved enough to where it's some level of 50/50-ish, but I will say I don't know for sure. All I know is hearsay from the FO side of the house but no one knows what Bisciotti is thinking.

Seems like Stefanski and Carroll are the favorites to be fired after today

Gannon, McDaniel, Morris, Bowles, and Tomlin seem to be the other possibilities unless there are some surprises

I'm usually not a reactionary person, but I'm not sure I'd want to see Glenn continue in NY if I was a Jets fan. It's not a super talented roster but they still drastically underperformed in my eyes, and don't think Glenn showed enough where he's the guy I'd want to stick behind.

The issue with Roman and the offense as the season went on was how predictable the offense was. If they weren't moving the ball on the ground at a historic rate every single time then everything would fall apart. Romans offense simply didn't ask Lamar to be a better passer. There were many concepts they simply did not run. I forget which receiver was here but there were some videos that leaked from Ravens practices where they would run plays that we would never see in the games.

I am not against keeping Monken, I just see similar issues with him that I saw with Roman which is this case I am attributing to John. I want the next head coach to be an offensive mind so if it means getting rid of Monken so be it. In a perfect world Klint Kubiak and Monken are together.

I honestly think the offense wouldn't have been nearly as predictable if Lamar throwing mechanics was as good as it was in 2023 and 2024. I think Greg Roman issue with Lamar was that he was passive aggressive with his approach with Lamars throwing mechanics. Todd Monken is totally different in that regard. I don't think Lamars throwing mechanics just instantly got better because Monken passing concepts were better than Greg Romans.I remember Dez Bryant being the one stating that the ravens didn't run the same passing concepts that they would run in practice but it was just obvious Roman couldn't get more out of Lamar as passer cause again I think it was because he was passive aggressive with his approach. I'm aware of Romans flaws and him not running a wide receiver friendly offense but I don't think he was nearly as bad as fans seem to hint at .

Some fans interest in Klint Kubiak is understandable since his dad is Gary Kubiak whom some fans still love to this day and seeing how well the Seahawks offene is playing but Lamar isn't Joe Flacco or Sam Darnold. I'm all for what fits and I don't think it fits at all but that's just my opinion.

Lamar’s throwing mechanics and O-line play..

There’s a correlation there.

Hopefully EDC sees it now.

One less vacancy to be filled. The Colts are bringing back both General Manager Chris Ballard & Head Coach Shane Steichen. The dominoes begin to fall in place....

I'm on record saying that I'm aware that our next HC may not yield better results. I'm just saying that it doesn't hurt to try especially when the predecessor's message is getting stale.

I do think Harbaugh is a good coach, but this is the same reason why I think we need a new coach. The message is just stale and that's what I have been telling people. That being said, you have to have someone out there that can replace him. Jesse Minter or one of the offensive coaches out there may be your best bet.

Well black monday has arrived

3 coaches already fired leaving vacancies for the Titans, Giants and Falcons

Big rumours swirling around Browns, Raiders and Dolphins potentially opening up

obviously if Harbs is moved on from, he will be highly sought after by many of those teams

and there goes pete carroll after only 1 year too

that's 3 straight years the raiders HC has been 1 and done

The Raiders were one of the weirdest teams this year. Their decision making in the offseason made it seem like they thought they were only a few pieces away but that couldn't have been further from true, and it wasn't hard to see. Feels like this one is an admission that they need to reset.

Zac Taylor officially safe in CIN (for now). I would think Glenn has to be out in NYJ, which would be the 6th.

I'll be interested to see what happens in Arizona, Dallas and Miami.
