Coaching Carousel 2026

Wouldn't be super interested in Stefanski. However, the low hanging fruit is this most likely means Jim Schwartz won't be back in CLE. So that's a DC available who I don't think will get many, if any, HC looks.
I’d love to have Jim Schwartz. I do think we would be more likely to see a HC retread at one of the coordinator spots if Harbaugh returns

Does he come with #95?

Zac Taylor officially safe in CIN (for now). I would think Glenn has to be out in NYJ, which would be the 6th.

I'll be interested to see what happens in Arizona, Dallas and Miami.

why are you so convinced glenn's out in NYJ

they had a horrible season but everything they did this year suggests they're rebuilding and suggests they're rebuilding with this coaching staff and GM they just hired

Coordinators that have superstar players are hard to assess. Like Schwartz had Myles Garrett and other pieces. So he's been a good DC, but it's kinda easy to be a good DC when you have elite defensive talent.

Same goes for OCs obviously.

The thing that's far more obvious is when coordinators elevate rosters or position groups that arent as talented.

That's been my biggest issue with Todd. He's mediocre. He deserves a job somewhere, but that guy doesnt have the "stuff" to help you win unless his roster is elite. He had a roster that while not top tier in any way was better than the performance they put out.

Football is hard and coaching is not super separable from the talent on the field. That's why I think there's no shot John is leaving. But they have to know Todd and Orr leave a huge amount to be desired. Orr especially.

AP Coach of The Year the last 10 Seasons..... safe to say this award is a curse.

2015 - Ron Rivera. He was fired after the 2018 season. Hired by Washington in 2019 and fired in 2024 by the Commanders.
2016- Jason Garrett. He was fired after the 2019 season.
2017- Sean McVay. Still with the Rams, won a Super Bowl in 2021.
2018- Matt Nagy. Fired after 2021 season
2019- John Harbaugh. Still with the Ravens (for now)
2020 & 2023 - Kevin Stefanski. Fired after the 2025 Season.
2021- Mike Vrabel. Fired by the Titans after 2023 season, is on his second stint as Head Coach with the Patriots.
2022- Brian Daboll. Fired mid-season of the 2025 Season.
2024- Kevin O'connell. Still with the Vikings.

So a) I don't think they were planning on rebuilding at the beginning of the year, and they still sucked and b) that team looks like they totally quit. And the defense is arguably the worst part of the team, which is what he was hired for.

In my opinion, had one of the worst rookie years of any HC I remember in a long time. There are teams who lost more than them that I thought tried and were more competitive than them.

Who is the terrorist? Is he calling Harbs the terrorist?
