Coaching Carousel 2026

This FO for the last several seasons have made terrible decisions and are stubborn to admit those mistakes. Hiring terrible coordinators and sticking with them for too long. Sticking with players that clearly suck and not even trying someone different at their position. Giving extensions to players that clearly shouldn't have gotten one. I know a lot of this is hindsight but man I think we've gone through 14 coordinators since Harbaugh?? and they are adamant to keeping the status quo.

What is it 13 blown leads? Keep getting embarrassed at home games. This team massively underachieves in the playoffs. Idk... what more is it going to take for this man to get fired?

imagine if we're trying to get rid of the guy that's getting HC interviews rather than the DC who's needed retirees to come and save his job ever year

Good. Todd Monken can go there and forget about Quinshon Judkins in the 4th quarter lol.

So what I've heard to this point... it's not a lot because it is behind closed doors and well, Bisciotti factor once again.

But at least 1 coordinator will be gone. I've heard worse news on Monken but I wouldn't react too heavily to that.

In Harbaugh's case, it sounds like they're just having real, raw conversations behind those doors. Examining the season and seeing where things went haywire. Giving him a chance to pitch his case and what the future might look like. Again, wouldn't read too much into that.

It's really just them not acting rash and doing the right thing and examining all of the options. They know firing people right after the game doesn't give a leg up. They'll make whatever moves they choose to make once they've had the convos they need to have.

They need days or weeks to determine where things went haywire, but I think we can determine that right now. It was poor play at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, poor coaching and a pretty apparent lack of “want to” from many on the team. It’s not rocket science. We don’t need to do a multi-layered investigation into what went wrong. Start making changes.

"I've heard worse news on Monken but I wouldn't react too heavily to that" what does that mean? That you're hearing Monken is gone or it's not Monken?

It sounds like Monken is going out the door one way or another, fired or quit. From the report that he interviewed for Michigan HC job, it sounds like he is exploring other opportunities wherever those reside.
